Volunteer Information Session

South Whatcom Fire Authority (SWFA) is holding a virtual information session on May 27th, 2020 at 6:00 PM.  Current applicants will receive email instructions to join the meeting.  Other interested persons who have not yet applied or want to know more information about the fire authority prior to applying, should send an interest email to info@swrfa.org stating their full name and phone number.  Information for joining the session will be provided via email to those persons.  A direct invitation is required for this virtual session.

The information session will provide information to prospective volunteer firefighter candidates about our organization, training requirements, required time commitments, and benefits that the fire authority provides to its members.  We hope that anyone interested will attend!

This information session marks the beginning of our hiring process for the fall firefighter recruit academy and EMT class that will begin at the end of August/beginning of September.
