The purpose of the Special Meeting is to discuss the Whatcom County Council proposed resolution to “establish an independent review of countywide fire and EMS structures” (County Council Item # AB2023-791). The meeting will be in conjunction with a joint meeting of the Whatcom County Fire Commissioners’ Association and the Whatcom County Fire Chiefs’ Association to discuss the same topic.
