The Whatcom County Fire Marshal’s Office, in coordination with Washington Department of Natural Resources, is reducing the Burn Ban to Stage 1, meaning that recreational fires (campfires) are again permitted. All other land clearing and yard waste burning is still prohibited until significant rain is experienced in the area.
